On 29 January 2021, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed into law Republic Act No. (RA) 11521, which amends the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001 (AMLA), as amended. An online copy of which is available in The Official Gazette. RA 11521 takes effect today, 30 January 2021.

 With respect to the Amendments to Certain Provisions of the 2018 Implementing Rules and Regulations of the AMLA, as recently amended by RA 11521, this is published today in The Philippine Star and shall take effect on 31 January 2021.
